This was a scenario that ran in the multiplayer on-line air-combat simulation Aces High.
Lancasters on the way to target.
Bomber group under attack.
Bomber group ready to drop on the Tirpitz!
Explosions on the Tirpitz. She takes lots of bomb hits, but eventually
down she goes!
Tallboys away onto a u-boat pen v68 in Mission 2.
Initial attack on bomber group. Luftwaffe has a good concentration of
fighters in this one.
In my guns, shooting at an attacking Ta 152.
Down to my last bomber as another Ta 152 takes the wing off.
My last bomber going down just before drop on Bergen. At least the
attacking Ta 152 is going down as well.
Mission 2 on the way back to Bergen, as we didn't get all the hangars last run.
A Bf 109K-4 sets my lead bomber on fire.
Tallboy away onto Bergen! I get my hangar.

Trading shots with a FW 190D-9.
We each lose a wing. I make it back with one bomber.
Frame 1: Got hits on Tirpitz in mission 1, and took out my target at v68.
Frame 2: Shot down in mission 1, I got my hangar at Bergen on mission 2. Shot down one FW 190D-9.
The RAF did well in frames 1 and 2. Frame 2, mission 1 was a challenge, as the Luftwaffe hit us in greater concentrated force than other missions, and we had high bomber losses in that one. All the other missions worked well for the RAF.
